How do you get to the Duck Stop from Phong Nha town?
It's about 8km from Son Trach into Bong Lai Valley, around 20 minutes by scooter or 40 minutes on a pushbike. Follow signs to Bong Lai, the Duck Stop is well marked off the main valley road. Most people stack it with Pub With Cold Beer and Wild Boar Eco Farm on the same loop.
Is the Duck Stop good for kids?
It's arguably the most kid-friendly stop in Phong Nha. The ducks come running for the food, the buffalo is gentle, and host Mr Dao knows how to entertain a crowd of all ages. Plan an hour and you'll struggle to leave.
