Pick Oxalis if your heart is set on a specific cave only they run. The Son Doong experience is exceptional, the Hang En swift sunrise is one of the best moments in Vietnam, and Tu Lan is the Kong: Skull Island filming country. Their licenses are exclusive and they earn the trust.

Veelgestelde vragen
Why does Oxalis have a monopoly on Son Doong?
The Quang Binh provincial government awarded Oxalis the exclusive operating licence for Son Doong, Hang En and several other caves in 2013, in partnership with the British Cave Research Association. The licence is intended to keep visitor numbers small and conservation strict. The cap is 1,000 visitors per year for Son Doong.
Is Oxalis worth the higher prices?
For the caves they're the only operator for, yes, because there's no alternative. For caves where Jungle Boss also runs trips (like a comparable big-cave overnight), Jungle Boss is the better value. Choose Oxalis when you specifically want a Son Doong, Hang En, Tu Lan or Hang Va trip.
How do I book Oxalis tours?
Through their official website, oxalisadventure.com. They take international cards and provide detailed trip notes after booking. Son Doong requires a deposit at booking, with the balance closer to the trip date.
